You are hereHealth Screening
Health Screenings provide the first step in employee wellness programming/assessment. Screenings are held at worksites by qualified LSE technicians who will screen for blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, height and weight, and B.M.I. (Body Mass Index). LSE's technicians are all highly skilled and trained to provide these screenings with the most current and accurate technology available.
At each screening, immediate results are given on-site by a health educator who will provide individual face to face personalized interpretation of numbers and implications, as well as health counseling on methods to improve future results.
We believe that this combination of providing staff that are hired, trained and supervised by LSE provides high quality service to the client. In addition, giving immediate results allows participants to be informed of their results while their motivation for behavior change is high. By providing these results from professional health educators, each participant is given written recommendations for lifestyle modification and any necessary recommendations for physician follow-up care. Participants then leave the screening with a written assessment and plan of action, thus increasing their motivation for change, as well as enhancing their ability to achieve success through a thorough knowledge of what specific actions need to take place. In addition, the confidential results are retained in a database that can be retrieved when annual screenings are completed, to provide individuals with a comparison from year to year of their numbers, thus allowing them to track their progress.
